Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping.
38 riders started in the Rolex FEI World Cup class in the Mechelen Nekkerhal. Eight riders qualified for the jump off. Earlier this week Gregory won the Sires of the World. Gregory : "I considered the sires of the world as a training class and I didn't go as fast as possible. Today it was completely different, in a world cup you just go for it. I felt dat Copin really wanted to work for me. I know I could put the pressure on the other riders." Last year the best Belgian ranked rider finished second, this year Gregory won the World cup class in 36.69 sec. Kevin Staut was second on Silvana, clear in 36.80 sec. Belgian Rik Hemeryck was the last one in the jump off. Rik : " I was not fast enough in the beginning of the jump off and I couldn't go faster at the end. Of course I'm very happy with my third place and I hope I will get some selections for the next world cup competitions."Pictures
