The sixteen best combinations of the first round of the competition for Belgian bred horses were allowed to start in the second round. In the second round, a table A on time only Alexander Kumps and Cru d'Avril jumped clear. Cru d'Avril Z is a son of Carthago, his grandmother is Déesse d'Avril, a very succesfull mare under the saddle of Eric Wauters. Alexander Kumps is living in Thorembais les Béguines. Alexander : "I never thought I would win the class. I'm not the fastest rider and my father (trainer Jos Kumps) puts the accent in his teaching on educating the horses well. Anyway I haven't won a class for several years and I'm extremely happy with this victory."
